If I still have any!<p>Hi there</p><p>It’s only been 6 years since my last post and I am now officially in my 30’s so I thought I would write a post just for fun on my current beauty must have for skin that ain’t so baby soft anymore.</p><p>I’ve tried so many foundations, full coverage, medium and to be honest I ultimately hate the way they all sit on my skin, settle into fine lines (I have yet to find a powder to help with this). Until it hit me, why don’t I just try a skin tint? I don’t need the coverage I just need my skin tone evening out!</p><p>And wallah, I found the <a href="https://www.boots.com/fenty-beauty-eaze-drop-blurring-skin-tint-10295102?cm_mmc=bmm-buk-google-ppc-_-PLAs_HeroCompare-_-Beauty_Premium_High_ROAS-_-UK_Smart_Shopping_Beauty_Premium_High_ROAS&gclid=CjwKCAjwxr2iBhBJEiwAdXECw5cIbF0uRRUvz6mZ7IJ-DWVVUlcFxyFOgZcq0jPUqM2tEN5xnw7q3BoCcYwQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds" target="_blank">Felty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint</a> **chefs kiss** I love this stuff so much!! It’s only a 32ml bottle but a little goes a long way and you can also mix in with your foundation if you wish for a little added coverage or perhaps you want to deepen your foundation shade slightly. I apply with my Coco Cosmetics sponge which is also a must have, if you haven’t tried it then you need too, effortless application! Concealer under the eyes to follow, powder and bronzer.. all of which sits on the skin tint like a dream.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfKAhtUe-I747q6EiGyhT_Bf2PY_l8WsYhOjfv9K9FFynvqWSCLO0ct7DUr0tO9yv0k-6H9oEtxj6FMH764sFj1Ftz72oA_7_f_T_3CkBtoMOg_dbLKaE-OlpgEHFASFlt6J8kiwqstfe87HlgKBBg8aBe3t5j3FI9MRQyVqZaO33ydDkIywz_qg/s4032/E004D6AA-5668-4471-BDA4-D0DA655EA343.jpeg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="3024" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfKAhtUe-I747q6EiGyhT_Bf2PY_l8WsYhOjfv9K9FFynvqWSCLO0ct7DUr0tO9yv0k-6H9oEtxj6FMH764sFj1Ftz72oA_7_f_T_3CkBtoMOg_dbLKaE-OlpgEHFASFlt6J8kiwqstfe87HlgKBBg8aBe3t5j3FI9MRQyVqZaO33ydDkIywz_qg/s320/E004D6AA-5668-4471-BDA4-D0DA655EA343.jpeg" width="240" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div>Hope you enjoyed this little share, I’m not one to gate keep and this stuff is definitely worth trying if you want to even out your complexion like me.</div><div><br /></div><div><a href="https://www.boots.com/fenty-beauty-eaze-drop-blurring-skin-tint-10295102?cm_mmc=bmm-buk-google-ppc-_-PLAs_HeroCompare-_-Beauty_Premium_High_ROAS-_-UK_Smart_Shopping_Beauty_Premium_High_ROAS&gclid=CjwKCAjwxr2iBhBJEiwAdXECw5cIbF0uRRUvz6mZ7IJ-DWVVUlcFxyFOgZcq0jPUqM2tEN5xnw7q3BoCcYwQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds" target="_blank">Link to buy - I got mine at Boots</a><br /></div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjBD2lWkxovRM9h0D7nBniaFi6naUWAGgYGPny3Kj8KDXEnlHnI3t68TKETmtw1z5ts_y8cL1Ol_cik94y5msbWjVY3lGUxhgD_4XDu_52APdkdcJlpsQXgJsEyN_2tCZ-PDu8szhdnw/s1600/kelly.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjBD2lWkxovRM9h0D7nBniaFi6naUWAGgYGPny3Kj8KDXEnlHnI3t68TKETmtw1z5ts_y8cL1Ol_cik94y5msbWjVY3lGUxhgD_4XDu_52APdkdcJlpsQXgJsEyN_2tCZ-PDu8szhdnw/s1600/kelly.png" /></a></div></div>Kellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16328318542100277347noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1183063535728242508.post-62763982857995061992017-04-05T10:24:00.003-07:002022-04-02T07:35:41.862-07:00Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation - 2 Fair - Review | KMC Beauty<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjeI8m86qnU7dB1EqO2XHsAU3wmVY-LzxZYuj5-2tt992V34GQRz33r1hQjXroJF3Ls_e4lBrD3gQB_3EO8nWGgcfZ85-pkurGxsqYgdmF5KqjacBICCOvIbumkILmRpalymHu4Q1VK4g/s1600/ksk.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjeI8m86qnU7dB1EqO2XHsAU3wmVY-LzxZYuj5-2tt992V34GQRz33r1hQjXroJF3Ls_e4lBrD3gQB_3EO8nWGgcfZ85-pkurGxsqYgdmF5KqjacBICCOvIbumkILmRpalymHu4Q1VK4g/s640/ksk.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
My first ever purchase from Charlotte Tilbury! With Summer approaching I was in desperate need of a new foundation after ditching my Urban Decay All Nighter which everyone seemed to rave about but it just looked cakey on me, it clung in all the creasing areas, like round my eyes, nose and on my forehead. With that being said I decided this time I was done with full coverage foundations, my skin doesn't need all that product, I have some redness on my cheeks and that's about it, if anything I just need to even out my skin tone a little so I purchased the Light Wonder Youth Boosting Perfect Skin Foundation. I'm a little skeptical because oily skin girls know, anything with 'Luminous' on the bottle we tend to avoid! This is the finish this foundation claims to give. However i'm hoping if I set with powder I can get away with wearing this on a daily basis.<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
So let's get down to it, packaging is a dream, obviously! That rose gold lid got me immediately. Charlotte Tilbury is known for her beautiful packaging with a luxurious feel but this means it comes with a luxurious price tag, as a high end foundation it retails at £32 however I got mine on Depop for £25.50 including postage, definitely check out second hand sellers before footing the bill for a brand new bottle, you will find people sell them on and they have never even been used.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWQpjWAQnMsVU8P8eWWEz4wDQK9LyBOzXmJj_durdLcXxdxheeWhKScsdNuzlXrbSvPSE_DLVEjYHM14ohllvhM3nIw6efyLDsk4TiXcvGBKqTEGf2oO6Y8U1ZalZmsK1SYkfg-Qg4_A/s1600/DSC00987.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWQpjWAQnMsVU8P8eWWEz4wDQK9LyBOzXmJj_durdLcXxdxheeWhKScsdNuzlXrbSvPSE_DLVEjYHM14ohllvhM3nIw6efyLDsk4TiXcvGBKqTEGf2oO6Y8U1ZalZmsK1SYkfg-Qg4_A/s640/DSC00987.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I picked up shade 2 Fair, I wasn't sure which shade I needed until I went on <a href="https://www.cultbeauty.co.uk/charlotte-tilbury-light-wonder.html">Cult Beauty</a> and they actually had a picture showing which foundation suits which skin tones and hair colours best, this helped me decide. It comes in a squeeze bottle, as it is a more dewy foundation you should be careful as you can easily squeeze out too much product, the plastic cap also stays clean which is a bonus I hate when you have a dirty foundation lid from the product build up.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I applied the foundation with my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush, absolute doodle, blended in seamlessly with no visible brush strokes, I have struggled with this in the past with more dewy foundations. This foundation claims to be bailable, I only placed a blob on both cheeks and on my chin, I was able to do my entire face using this amount only, I leave my forehead because it is more tan than the rest of my face. I then applied some extra around my nose where I could still see some redness, it blended in perfectly without separating the existing foundation.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For sure this is a glowy foundation, which for this time of year i'm all about, however there is a fine line between looking glowy and an oil slick, as an oily girl I do have to set with powder in my t-zone but this is the case for me even when I use matte foundations. I then applied concealer, bronzer and highlight, all three just melted into my foundation perfectly.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<br /></div>
Oh hey don't mind me in my dressing gown and bedhead hair! I was obviously in the process of getting ready when I took these photos, all my base products are on and as you can see this foundation looks flawless on the skin and is a great colour match for me, bare in mind what I said about not applying any to my forehead I go as far as between my eyebrows, on my temple is bronzer only.<br />
<br />
I am going to continue using this foundation, today I wore it for 8 hours and to be honest my forehead looked the oiliest and that had no product on it! Around my nose could of used a powder touch up but nothing major. I look forward to seeing if this foundation can stand 12 hour wear time when I am in work but I am super impressed with it so far.<br />

<br />
Happy 2017! .. Better late than never 8) Back with a review on the Sephora Bright Future Gel Serum Concealer, that's a mouth full..<br />
<br />
I am the biggest advocate for drug store concealers, but recently I can never find a concealer from the drug store that both conceals and brightens my under eye. I was using the Maybelline Age Rewind for a long while and although it concealed well it never gave me the brightened under eye that I prefer, it just kind of blended with my foundation and made my face look all one tone with no dimension. As I was running out and in the market for a new concealer I grabbed the Sephora Collection Bright Future Gel Serum Concealer from the Sephora website last week. If you watch Lustrelux on Youtube she raves about this concealer so I thought I would give it a try.<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
As for which colour I needed, I had no clue! I ended up choosing 02 Meringue, the second lightest they make, I knew I would need something fair as my skin is currently very fair anyways so to get my bright under eye I need pretty much the fairest concealer on offer but I <u style="font-weight: bold;">hate</u> anything with a yellow undertone so I chose Meringue as it said 'Light with a neutral undertone'. I definitely picked up the perfect shade, it is probably a shade lighter than my foundation, I am currently using Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation in the shade 1.5 and these two work so well together, it blends into my foundation without looking cakey on top.<br />
<br />
The Gel Serum Concealer definitely provides a good amount of coverage, it's not Pro Longwear kind of cover but I always found that a bit too much anyways. It's definitely an opaque layer of product once applied under the eye, not sheer at all. I have fine lines under my eyes and it doesn't matter what I use they are always visible, this doesn't change that which I expected and that's fine because I only want to brighten, I am very lazy with skincare I think if I moisturised my under eye more often I would have less lines!<br />
<br />
Ok so wear time, can't fault it, yesterday I had this concealer on for <b>ten </b>hours! I left home at 7:30am and didn't get home until 5:30pm, it didn't budge all day, I will say I do set my concealer and t-zone with the Laura Mercier Loose Powder always, because I am oily.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMgwBzs-Vy4Esvv5l2kFPuDshpJVWTAvnG0859HTkSJmShvY-WbFFYWj0a43qOw4taB_p6kCTjiYBt011HupbZN-mabVrzjBHp-LQvYKw6WiEBIJ8UREFqrD6D4dqWSKO6ez3mBTDLiA/s1600/DSC00726.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMgwBzs-Vy4Esvv5l2kFPuDshpJVWTAvnG0859HTkSJmShvY-WbFFYWj0a43qOw4taB_p6kCTjiYBt011HupbZN-mabVrzjBHp-LQvYKw6WiEBIJ8UREFqrD6D4dqWSKO6ez3mBTDLiA/s640/DSC00726.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdIdb_rYBY46s8CyK-BsG7UgcB3ZK6BgMzkJgkWI4mMwYI-CB_9Ep-MTq7pNmLRAZIsL6k2vNDxwpisDG8ULUbq2-3BJlnXwFQtm-1-UqIXcKNq1JJ7P1AZOtlnv6UAECQKGmZ_ac9AA/s1600/DSC00729.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdIdb_rYBY46s8CyK-BsG7UgcB3ZK6BgMzkJgkWI4mMwYI-CB_9Ep-MTq7pNmLRAZIsL6k2vNDxwpisDG8ULUbq2-3BJlnXwFQtm-1-UqIXcKNq1JJ7P1AZOtlnv6UAECQKGmZ_ac9AA/s640/DSC00729.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Price point is good, it's not drug store prices obviously because Sephora isn't a drug store, however their line of own brand products are definitely affordable, this concealer was $14 which I think with the current exchange rate equates to about £11.. Compared to the £22.50 I used to pay for the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer I would purchase this Sephora one over that any day it's just as good if not better in my opinion.<br />
<br />
Heres my <b>only </b>grumble.. The applicator, looks like a normal dofus applicator from my photo, which it is in appearance and it's shape but it is so rigid! Has no movement what so ever so I find when applying I have to dunk the applicator back in the tube a few times before I have enough product under my eye, I am used to more swooping motions when I apply my foundation but Sephora suggest you 'dot' this in your desired areas, I just find I need a little more product if I dot as they suggest, I prefer to 'swipe' around where I need it but the applicator doesn't really allow for this it's quite hard and the sponge tip itself isn't that thick, there is also a stopper cap at the top of the tube to prevent you from getting excess product.<br />
<br />
Needless to say I will continue to repurchase this concealer until I find something that trumps it!<br />
<br />

I was literally scanning through Cult Beauty the other day and I don't even know how it happened I just ended up adding some Jouer products to my basket, didn't read any reviews, look at any swatches and i've never tried Jouer before, I just saw their stuff on Instagram lately so I added two random Lip Creme colours from their Fall Collection to my basket and the Skinny Dip Lip Topper which was not an accident, I have seen this everywhere and it was always sold out so when I saw Cult had some stock I nabbed one.<br />
When choosing my Lip Creme colours my thought process was, one nude to stay safe so I chose Buff and one Christmassy colour, Snapdragon!<br />
<br />
Buff is a beautiful beige nude, and I know people say this all the time but it really isn't like any other nude lip product I have in my collection, this is the palest nude I own and i'm so glad because I have pigmented lips naturally so a lot of beigey/nude shades can end up pulling brown on me which I find so annoying, Buff stays true to it's colour once on the lips. The Lip Cremes are matte but they do take a while to fully dry, once applied they stay tacky for quite some time. This particular shade does require a few coats for an opaque finish, but you can easily layer it without it clogging together. I think Buff and Skinnydip together will be my new favourite combo for a while.<br />
<br />
Snapdragon is <b>definitely </b>like nothing else I own in my collection, I can't say I have any metallic plum shades so this is surely different for me, I thought the metallic vibe would be good for Christmas and the purple would be fitting for the Winter months, I will say if I was at my palest this probably wouldn't suit me, I have a tiny bit of a tan at the moment but if I didn't I think it would wash me out, I will definitely bronze up a fair bit if I wear this for Christmas parties!<br />
<br />
Skinny Dip is a very thick gloopy formula, I guess to be expected of a gloss like product but it can pull the existing colour on the lips around a bit if it has not fully dried, be wary of this. I haven't tried it alone but on top of Buff it is beautiful, they compliment each other so well and I can't wait to wear this over Christmas time.<br />
All three shades have a vanilla scent similar to the Kylie Liquid Lipsticks if you have tried those.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Do you own any Jouer products? Let me know what I should try!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I think I may have to purchase Bronze Rose next.</div>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Kylie Cosmetics Metals L-R Heir, King K & Reign</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
So it happened, I was suckered into buying from the Kylie Cosmetics site, I always told myself that I didn't need any of her liquid lipsticks and I never had the desire to buy any until the metals came out, I thought they were so unique and different from anything else in my collection that I had to try them.<br />
I follow Kylie on snapchat and whenever she told people her site was re-stocked I always seemed to miss out but I eventually managed to see her snapchat in time before everyone flocked to the site to buy dozens of her lipsticks to sell for triple the price. I got all three metal shades in the range, Heir, Reign and King K.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /><br />
First impressions the packaging is as expected, I knew what it looked like before receiving it from seeing the pictures online, for me I think the packaging looks a bit cheap, kind of similar to Colourpop except their liquid lipsticks are $6.00 each not $18.00 like the Kylie ones, so I think she could of had nicer packaging for the price point.<br />
Dofus applicator as expected with liquid lipsticks however there doesn't seem to be much continuity between shades, if you look at my close up of the applicators each one looks different, Heir has a nice even dofus which hasn't separated however Reign and King K seem to have more battered looking dofus applicators which I would expect if I had used them time and time again but these are fresh out the tube.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxUihmxN4zJV6UXmiBdi4leCVOQdEPRNx-Vb2XAfv4z_RMmFSuF52U0qIPJEIkVV2DHw8NeQQYHbA_9_qdPaQmhAJSpcu9THhhsADQy3GUWABQbGR1oucZ8Irc_s_3RypO6RD6szweuw/s1600/IMG_4005.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxUihmxN4zJV6UXmiBdi4leCVOQdEPRNx-Vb2XAfv4z_RMmFSuF52U0qIPJEIkVV2DHw8NeQQYHbA_9_qdPaQmhAJSpcu9THhhsADQy3GUWABQbGR1oucZ8Irc_s_3RypO6RD6szweuw/s640/IMG_4005.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Now lets talk about the product itself, I don't know where to start, the smell is so sweet, sickly sweet, fortunately once the product is actually on the lips I don't seem to smell it during wear but when applying it's very strong which I don't particularly like.<br />
Many of you may of seen the video on Youtube by a girl named Kendall Alfred, she has had over 2m views and talks about Kymajesty which is the black metal liquid lipstick Kylie brought out and is no longer available, i'm not sure if it was limited edition or not, anyways she basically has nothing good to say about that particular shade but what caught my attention was when she mentioned her tube of product wasn't full which prompted me to check all three of the shades I picked up, low and behold my three tubes are exactly the same! I don't care if I have paid drug store price or high end price, I expect to get a full tube of product and I have seen other people with the same issues. I have also heard people say that the customer service team is not great too, I don't even want to email them to complain because even if they did send me replacements I don't fancy getting hit with the £15.39 customs charge again!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhK25WhfmjBXQDJWInyG8bM5Pe0f3plWk6ewhyphenhyphenG5onqUy1lYWFVWO-aM7hOWNwvy4cAZXVj72epqXCtzrgAYs7ySSgwuhFFDJHTGnpx5wWJgtWOZZ5z_Gf4jGTOYC3V0Y5TGf3MjTbzGQ/s1600/IMG_4015.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhK25WhfmjBXQDJWInyG8bM5Pe0f3plWk6ewhyphenhyphenG5onqUy1lYWFVWO-aM7hOWNwvy4cAZXVj72epqXCtzrgAYs7ySSgwuhFFDJHTGnpx5wWJgtWOZZ5z_Gf4jGTOYC3V0Y5TGf3MjTbzGQ/s640/IMG_4015.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5qIB04AmBhpDxwqCa6QKOQJQr2Hm7u5djikVAqwKJ1LkmdW5BaxciB0SLtBFoeWqCIrkz7uOhlp3JYkZqyuB32hrW2mtX4BjUAn9FM9iotp6COs1lmXivsWUmy1faxYOcPQQFmg4A5w/s1600/IMG_4012.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5qIB04AmBhpDxwqCa6QKOQJQr2Hm7u5djikVAqwKJ1LkmdW5BaxciB0SLtBFoeWqCIrkz7uOhlp3JYkZqyuB32hrW2mtX4BjUAn9FM9iotp6COs1lmXivsWUmy1faxYOcPQQFmg4A5w/s640/IMG_4012.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Now all the grumbling is out of the way let's try and look at the positives! Application is a doddle, these metals glide on the lips, I apply a couple of coates to get my desired opacity, they are buildable and don't go patchy either. Reign seems to be the most metallic out of the three though, Heir and King K have a more subtle metallic effect to them although they are both still pigmented.<br />
All shades are super comfortable on the lips with a creamy texture. I'm not sure why these are marketed as matte products though, they aren't matte not even close, they transfer and as the name would suggest these metals give a shiny finish on the lips.<br />
Heir - Described as a 'Pinkish Gold Metallic' this shade is definitely the most wearable against my skin tone, it is the lightest shade of the three and my favourite, almost looks a bit coral on me.<br />
King K - Described as a 'Soft Metallic Gold' the most intense shade out of the bunch i'm just not sure how wearable this is though, night out shade definitely but I personally couldn't pull this off in the day time.<br />
Reign - Described as a 'Bronzy Copper Metallic' which is the perfect description but against my pale skin it makes me look a bit washed out but if I had a tan I think this would look nice.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Kylie Cosmetics Metals - Heir, King K & Reign</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
So I think all in all you can probably tell from my review that the negatives outweigh the positives, I more than likely will not purchase from Kylie Cosmetics again, the customs charge was bad enough but when the products themselves just aren't up to standard it's not worth it, although I like the formula and the shades it's not enough for me to recommend the metals range.<br />
<br />

<br />
In my make-up collection I don't own a palette that contains blush, bronzer and highlight in one, so when I saw this palette on Debenhams it was a bit of an impulse buy, I didn't really need it but I knew it would be limited edition and I ended up adding to my cart and purchasing.<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
Other than the Double Wear foundation that I no longer use (it's a bit cakey for my skin now) this is my second ever purchase from Estée Lauder, i'm not too sure why that is, something about their brand doesn't seem draw me in like other brands, I feel as though their target market is more aimed at older people although i'm sure they are working hard to change that perception with their new releases using spokespeople like Kendall Jenner to draw in the younger customers.<br />
When I looked at the palette for the first time it felt high end, the packaging is really sturdy and luxurious without being excessively large, you can still throw this in your handbag and it's not going to take up lots of room, it also has a very generous mirror inside.<br />
As for the product itself, I have been testing it for around two weeks, if your expecting a highly pigmented palette then this is not for you, it does as it would suggest, gives you a "Summer Glow" but it's not gonna give you an intense colour payoff.<br />
The highlight is stunning, is is a warm golden shade with shimmer running throughout, the shimmer is fine not chunky and provides a substantial highlight with one stroke of the brush, definitely build-able but on work days I find that one stroke of the brush either side of my cheek bones is enough.<br />
Blush is a rosy pink shade with the tiniest amount of sheen, I personally don't find the sheen shows on my skin, it just adds a nice healthy flush to my cheeks on days where I don't feel like wearing bronzer.<br />
Speaking of bronzer, this is my new everyday go to, I find it is the perfect shade for giving my skin a little bit of a tan without looking orange against my extremely pale skin, if you have a darker skin tone you might struggle with this as it may not show up as well if at all but for paler skin tones like myself I love this shade. This bronzer gives my face dimension without having a strong contour and it's satin finish blends easily and is also build-able.<br />
<br />
All in all I am so happy I made this purchase, I will say that I don't think this palette is very universal, like I mentioned darker skin tones may not find much use of the bronzer and what is the point in buying a "Multi-Palette" if you can't use all the shades?<br />
This is a limited edition product and it can be found at <a href="http://www.sephora.com/bronze-goddess-summer-glow-multi-palette-P407164?skuId=1814219&icid2=products%20grid:p407164">Sephora</a> and <a href="http://www.houseoffraser.co.uk/Est%C3%A9e+Lauder+Bronze+Goddess+Summer+Glow+Multi-Palette/241759652,default,pd.html?_$ja=tsid:44970%7ccid:207252715%7cagid:10145031715%7ctid:pla-108093948595%7ccrid:56046572875%7cnw:g%7crnd:17529749211349977267%7cdvc:c%7cadp:1o1%7cmt:">House Of Fraser</a> while stocks last! Boots, Debenhams and Look Fantastic have already sold out of this product, so if you have your eyes on it you should move quickly.<br />

<br />
Recently I ran out of my Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer as well as my <a href="http://www.kmcbeauty.co.uk/2015/06/urban-decay-weightless-complete.html">Urban Decay Concealer</a> and I wanted to find a cheaper drug store alternative. I purchased the Maybelline Better Skin so long ago from Ulta (I used a shipping company) before it was released in the UK. The UK version looks a little different (<a href="http://www.boots.com/en/Maybelline-Better-Skin-Concealer_1416204/">find it here</a>) so to do a comparison I also purchased the Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer to see which one comes out on top.<br />
<br />
I think the best way to do a fair comparison is to break them down into categories and see which fairs best in each category.<br />
<br />
<b><u>Packaging</u></b><br />
Both have incredibly similar packaging, both have a clear tube so you can see the contents and the colour and both have a twist off cap with dofus applicators.<br />
<b><u>Colour Selection</u></b><br />
Maybelline offer six shades in their Better Skin concealer range however Rimmel only offer four from what I can find which is pretty poor on both sides I would say they both should offer more shades to suit all skin types as I would definitely prefer a lighter shade in both of these concealers so I could use them as more of a under eye highlight.<br />
<b><u>Coverage</u></b><br />
There is one clear winner for me when it comes to coverage and hands down Maybelline wins this one, the Rimmel Wake Me Up is just too sheer for what I need in my concealers. If your looking for a spot concealer then the Wake Me Up may be a good option for you but if your looking to cover dark circles or use as an under eye highlight like me then this concealer just does not provide enough coverage. The Maybelline Better Skin is thicker in consistency and provides better coverage under my eyes but I just wish I had a lighter shade. I have the shade Light 20 in the Better Skin currently however they do have Ivory 10 which may of been a better option for me.<br />
<b><u>Application</u></b><br />
Both concealers fair well when applying, the dofus applicators allow for accurate application and I always use a damp Beauty Blender to blend out the product under my eye and both do so with ease.<br />
<b><u>Lasting Power</u></b><br />
I have to say that both of these concealers last all day on my skin, I am oily but only in the t-zone so my under eyes don't feel the effects of this. Some days I work ten hours straight and I don't take any make-up with me to touch up during the day so lasting power is really important for me and both of these concealers can last all day over my foundation with no problems. Currently I am using the YSL Fusion Ink foundation.<br />
<b><u>Price</u></b><br />
Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer - £5.49 7ml<br />
Maybelline Better Skin Concealer - £5.99 11ml (UK size)<br />
The Better Skin is marginally more expensive but you do get more product.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiFBJ-KlKknD_KbXLOgM2_525CKSwyk60FvmudzZa119ndF5nxKu0WWm-LujFjfH9KZBHiGdm86X4fvT-HTXDVofnMo6QNbauAkwqOHhigcOIGuFxxWqtCHnh8q5a3YlBm4huQIuEV6g/s1600/Swatches.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiFBJ-KlKknD_KbXLOgM2_525CKSwyk60FvmudzZa119ndF5nxKu0WWm-LujFjfH9KZBHiGdm86X4fvT-HTXDVofnMo6QNbauAkwqOHhigcOIGuFxxWqtCHnh8q5a3YlBm4huQIuEV6g/s640/Swatches.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Personally I can't see myself finding much use for the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer although it sits nice on the skin it doesn't provide the kind of coverage I need. However the Maybelline Better Skin concealer is definitely going to get more use.<br />
Even though the Better Skin was the clear winner for me I can't see it ever surpassing my Nars or Urban Decay concealers due to the lack of colour choice but I will continue to use it until I run out as it is a good everyday concealer.<br />

<br />
Today i'm back with another review on the new Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche lipstick in the shade Honeycomb. I purchased this a little while back now on Sephora and have been looking forward to adding my thoughts to my blog as well as swatches.<br />
<br />
Starting with the sleek matte packaging, I love Bite Beauty's packaging it's so simple yet sophisticated with the added detail of the curved top on the lid and the small gloss logo on the bottom. Just a regular click close lid, not magnetic like the Marc Jacobs or Nars lipsticks I own. Described as a 'Beige Nude' which is very accurate, also has a satin finish so don't expect that dry feeling you get from most matte lipsticks, this formula is intensely hydrating and it smells delicious, reminds me of sherbet but Bite say its citrus with fresh pressed fruit.<br />
Pigmentation is amazing, one stroke gave me the swatch on my arm and as you can tell it has a beautiful shine from it's satin finish.<br />
I can wear this lipstick with no liner and it doesn't seem to bleed on me which is great because I have a limited supply of liners and sometimes can't always find the right shade to match. Wear time you need to be realistic, when it comes to satin lipsticks, if you eat it's probably going to fade to an extent, it's not smudge proof or transfer proof, with that being said <b>untouched </b>I can get four hours wear time before reapplication is required. If I have remaining lipstick left on the outer portion of my lips and reapply where it has worn off it doesn't go patchy, all just blends together again like I am applying for the first time.<br />
<br />
Needless to say I want more of these lipsticks already, they have a huge colour selection on the Sephora website and at $26 each they are cheaper than the Marc Jacobs lipsticks I own and definitely on the same level.<br />
<br />

<br />
When it comes to washing my hair I absolutely detest it, purely because of how long it takes to dry my hair afterwards, so for a while now I have been looking for a new dry shampoo that I can use in-between washes to give my hair some life back and get rid of any oil I may have.<br />
On a whim as I was perusing the aisles of Asda, as you do, I noticed the Toni & Guy range in the haircare section, if i'm honest I didn't even realise Asda sold Toni & Guy products. Immediately the dry shampoo caught my eye and the minute I saw the words 'absorbs oil to revive' I threw it in my basket.<br />
I have been using this dry shampoo for two weeks now and I don't have enough good things to say about it, it smells divine, like you have been to the salon and had your hair done. When you spray the dry shampoo it applies evenly over the hair, doesn't spray directly at one area which can be annoying as you end up applying too much. <b>No white cast! </b>I know for the darker haired people out there this is a bugbare when it comes to dry shampoo, although I am blonde my roots are dark and I actually prefer to not have the white cast.<br />
Like I mentioned I have been using this dry shampoo for two weeks maybe every three to four days depending on if I have had to wash my hair or not and I still have over 3/4 of the product left, a little goes a long way you don't need to cover all of your roots I just apply it on the more noticeable areas i.e. around my hairline at the front.<br />
If you are in the market for a new dry shampoo I would 100% recommend this one to try! They also have a <a href="http://www.boots.com/en/Toni-Guy-Casual-Matt-Texture-Dry-Shampoo-250ml_1648569/">Matt Texture Dry Shampoo</a> however I was worried this may make my hair feel a bit dry and ridged so I didn't pick that one up.<br />

Super excited to write about my first two Tarte purchases on the blog, I have never tried any Tarte products before as they always seemed difficult to get hold of in the UK, I know QVC stock some bits but not any of the newer releases. I did also purchase the Rainforest of the Sea Skin Twinkle Lighting Palette when on Sephora but I am going to review that separately as I wanted to keep the two lip based items together.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Ever since L'Oreal discontinued my favourite Infallible Lip Liner I have been trying to find a similar everyday shade and I ended up choosing 'Boho' when looking through the Tarte colour options however I had no idea what it would look like when it arrived and also didn't know that it would be the perfect liner match for the Lip Paint I picked up in 'Namaste' they are literally identical and a match made in heaven. The liner itself glides on with maximum colour payoff, it is very soft and creamy and doesn't tug at my lips like I have experienced with other liners, it's creamy enough that you could wear the liner alone if you liked and your lips would not feel dry.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
As with the liner when I added the Creamy Matte Lip Paint in the shade 'Namaste' to my basket I had no idea what the colour would be like when it arrived, I just took the plunge, however I am so happy with the shade, i've mentioned before but whenever I try a new brand or formula I always stick to nude shades to be safe and if I like them enough I will maybe expand my collection with the more bolder colours. The formula itself makes me want to describe it as a paste like texture, it's not completely smooth but it's not thick either it has a thin consistency that glides on the lips with minimum product required to get your desired opacity, a little goes a long way. The long and thin dofus applicator makes it easy to apply. Although the finish of this Lip Paint is matte, there is no shine what so ever, it is not matte to touch for at least the first 30 minutes, after this time I found that transfer was minimal and it was completely dry. My lips didn't feel dry or crack while wearing this product. Also there is a slight minty scent but it doesn't give my lips that cooling sensation.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I would definitely recommend both the Tarteist Liner range and the Lip Paints, I want more already.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
As my everyday foundation I have been meaning to review the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation for some time now, I have owned mine for almost two months and think I have a good idea now on what I like and don't like about this foundation.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Starting with the obvious, <b>it has a pump! </b>So happy about this, pumps on foundation bottles make life so much easier and for that I am thankful. The lid is a pull off but has a very snug fit and won't come loose in your make-up bag.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
At first I was applying this foundation with a brush, but I found that the brush strokes were visible on my skin and this was very time consuming buffing them away so I started applying with a damp Beauty Blender instead which made for much more even coverage. On to the coverage itself, I personally don't build up this foundation I only apply one even layer which gives me a medium coverage, definitely not full coverage, if I have a particularly angry blemish the redness will show through so I dot concealer on the affected areas when necessary.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
A top tip the lady on the Armani counter gave me was to exfoliate my skin on a regular basis before applying and she was so right. I have oily skin in my t-zone and tend to get dry patches around my mouth and nose, if I don't exfoliate and then apply this foundation <b>you can tell </b>I have dry patches and it actually accentuates them more.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
If you use any powdered products i.e. Blush/Bronzer then I found that I absolutely have to set my foundation and concealer with powder first, I use the Laura Mercier Translucent Powder, if I don't set with powder then go on to apply my bronzer or blush my foundation will move and this leaves my skin looking noticeably patchy to the point where I will remove all of the product from my entire face and start over. If you are on a time schedule like me this is a huge inconvenience.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The colour I have my foundation in is number 3, I went to get matched at the Armani counter before buying, it's not the cheapest product and I think if you have the opportunity to be colour matched then I would advise on doing that to make sure you have the right shade. The number 3 is perfect for my pale skin that hasn't seen a sunny holiday since 2014, I know i'm long overdue but this is what happens when you buy a house!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
If you are oily like me don't let the name 'Luminous' put you off, as I write this blog post I have been wearing this foundation for 11 hours, I have not and never do use powder throughout the day, I don't even take any additional make-up to work with me. My skin is by no means matte at the end of this time however it's not a greasy mess either, I think my skin looks more healthy but if I stroke my finger across the shinier parts of my skin the foundation will move, you could always touch up with powder throughout the day if you felt the need to. There are some signs of where my foundation has worn away which isn't massively noticeable, around the bottom of my nose seems to be the main place it wears away and I also wear glasses which not only leaves marks on my nose when I take them off but they also remove my foundation when I wear them for a long time.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I am on the fence as to whether I want to re-purchase this foundation again, I like it but I don't love it for my skin type. I am definitely open to trying another foundation in the hope of finding my perfect product, I just don't know which one to try next! If you have any suggestions for my skin type let me know.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Finally I managed to get my hands on a <a href="http://doseofcolors.com/">Dose Of Colors</a> liquid lipstick, I have been wanting to try some of their matte range for ages but they are forever sold out. It was only by chance one day I was on the <a href="http://www.beautybay.com/">Beauty Bay</a> website and noticed that they stocked Dose Of Colors and quickly snapped up this matte liquid lipstick in the shade 'Truffle', they also had 'Chocolate Wasted' in stock at the time which is also from their new colour range but I opted out of purchasing that shade as I felt it was too dark for my pale complexion and not really a shade I associate with Spring/Summer.<br />
<br />
So lets get to it, starting with application, like most liquid lipsticks it has a dofus applicator which allows for a fairly accurate application, in comparison to my Colourpop and The Balm liquid lipsticks the formula feels slightly wetter at first which is great because if I slip up I have chance to clean it up before it drys, one stroke gives an incredibly opaque layer of colour too.<br />
Once this lipstick drys to a matte finish it isn't completely bone dry it is slightly tacky but not tacky as in your going to get your hair stuck in it or anything like that, even when I tested to see if this product transferred onto the back of my hand it didn't, it wears very comfortably.<br />
This liquid lipstick lasts a long time on the lips, I managed 6 hours with it still looking decent. Bare in mind if your going to eat while wearing this product it may fade off slighly, this happened to me on one occasion but it wore off from the centre and it just looked gradually faded, I imagine with the more bolder colours in the range this may look more noticeable when they wear away. This does not bother me in the slightest, I feel as though it's to be expected when your eating.<br />
<br />
Price wise these are £14.50 each on the Beauty Bay website, comparable to the Anastasia Beverly Hills liquid lipstick price point however I have never tried their range so could not compare the products.<br />
I guess these are on the higher end of the price spectrum when you compare them to the likes of the Nyx Lingerie range (£6.50) which I have not tried yet or the Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip ($6.00) which I don't think comes close the formula of this Dose Of Colors lipstick.<br />
<br />
Overall I am so pleased with this lipstick, it's my current favourite formula of all the ones I own and honestly if they weren't so difficult to get hold of I would have many more by now, I have my eyes on 'Desert Suede', 'Cork', 'Sand' and 'Stone' for the future.<br />

Back again with another <a href="http://www.lookfantastic.com/home.dept" target="_blank">Lookfantastic</a> Beauty Box, i'm sorry that I haven't put out another post in <b>almost </b>a month, I don't intend on making this a habit I have just been transitioning into a new job and that has consumed a lot of my free time as of recent.</div>
<br />
This will be the final Lookfantastic Beauty Box edition as I only set up a 3 month subscription and unless I decide to renew later on in the year this will be the last post on these boxes for a while, i'm not ruling out subscribing again I love the Lookfantastic boxes I am just going to have a little break, it's good that they offer you a 1, 3, 6 or 12 month subscription really because then you don't have to commit to paying for the box every month if you don't want too.<br />
Let me know if you like these posts and want them to continue, I may renew my subscription.<br />

<b><u>Codage Masque Hydratant Moisturising Mask</u></b><br />
Sooooo in my little book that tells me everything that's in my beauty box, it says I should have the Codage Masque as shown above and also a Cordage Serum, but I don't seem to have the serum which is a shame. Nevertheless this mask is said to be deeply hydrating which is great for my crocodile skin, although I am oily for the most part I do have some dry patches and I love using masks regularly so I am looking forward to trying this out.<br />
The price point on the Codage range is fairly steep, some products priced at over £100 for 30mls of product. This brand is obviously classed as 'High-end' skincare, this shows in their prices so I can't wait to see if this mask makes a difference to my skin. The full-size of this mask retails at £42 for a 50ml jar.<br />

<b><u>First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream</u></b><br />
I have been wanting to try First Aid Beauty for so long now, I am really hoping that this lives up to my expectations. Claims to banish dry skin with no oily residue and is says it is easily absorbed. If I love this it may actually prompt me to buy the full size and maybe more from the First Aid Beauty range as their products are pretty affordable, the full-size of the Ultra Repair Cream retails at £9.<br />

<br />
<b><u>Caudalíe Micellar Cleansing Water</u></b><br />
I'm not 100% familiar with this brand but on the Lookfantastic website their range is pretty affordable for the most part. I have mentioned on my blog before that I can <b>always </b>make use of micellar water, whether it's to clean off make-up I have missed in my deep cleanse or even to wipe away swatches from my arms (life of a blogger) I always get through them. But at the same time I never use a micellar water and think <b>wow </b>what a difference, to me it's just more convenient than going to the bathroom and using soapy water if I can put some micellar water on a cotton pad.<br />
This product is soap free and hypoallergenic so if you had sensitive skin you could use this.<br />

<b><u>Lottie London - All Eyes On You Shadow Brush</u></b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I will say i'm pretty impressed that they have included a full size make-up brush in this months box, I have seen the Lottie London brushes around on social media but I don't own any and haven't previously read any reviews on them either so I will definitely try this out sometime soon. If I was being super picky I find the neon colour a little garish I prefer all my brushes to be neutral so when they sit in my brush holder they all look nice and tidy.</div>

<b><u>Revlon Colorburst Lip Balm</u></b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Another full-sized product by the well known drugstore brand Revlon. I will say that although the shade I received in my box this month is nice, it's a bit too sheer and shimmery for my liking but it's nice to throw in your bag to have when your on the go and just want a touch up however I tend to stay clear from glitter/shimmery lip products, same goes with blushes.</div>

Another brand I am not familiar with and to be honest if I saw the name of this product in a shop or online it wouldn't draw my attention as I have absolutely <b>no </b>idea what it means.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
In a nutshell, it's a moisturiser, said to be lightweight and reduce redness and inflammation. Nuxe say it is suitable for all skin types and is quickly absorbed into the skin, I look forward to trying it out.</div>

Another month, another Look Fantastic Beauty Box! This month is their #LFLOVES edition containing all of their favourite products for February. Just like last month they have sent another pretty box that I can't possibly throw away, I will need to find a use for it and they also threw in an Elle magazine too.</div>

<b><u>KMS California Colorvitality Colour Conditioner</u></b><br />
I'm a little disappointed that this months box contains another conditioner like last month however these minis are always handy for travel. Said to keep your hair tangle free and in top condition, my knotty hair definitely needs a tangle taming.<br />

<b><u>HI Impact Brows</u></b></div>

Probably the most exciting part of this months Look Fantastic box is this brow kit! It also says that you can use this palette for contouring too so i'm interested to see how that works out. For my brows specifically I am always switching up my brow products to give me the most natural looking brow I can achieve, some days I go a little heavy though, unintentionally.</div>

I love being able to create palettes full of individual eye shadows specific to me, recently I left behind my small Z Palette and purchased the medium one instead for my growing collection, i'm sure the large is next as I can't seem to stop adding to my individuals but seen as I have filled my medium palette I thought I may as well share what I keep in it currently.<br />

As I am sure you have noticed the majority of the shadows in my palette are by Makeup Geek, my most recent additions being the Foiled shadows. I love their eyeshadows and although I own some M.A.C shadows outside of this palette I definitely see myself gravitating more for the Makeup Geek shadows, better quality and a better price point.<br />

I hope you enjoyed seeing which shadows I keep in my Z Palette.</div>

However if your looking for a review with swatches on a dreamy looking warm toned palette then you're in luck.<br />
Last year I purchased some bits from Natasha Denona, let me tell you, this was not a cheap purchase, her products are high end prices but are they high end products?<br />
In total I got three items, one blush, one bronzer and the palette I am reviewing today. When trying any new make-up brand I have never tried before I tend to stay in my comfort zone, warm toned eyeshadows are where it is at for me, however as I did not want to purchase the large 28 shadow palette, mainly because the price made my jaw drop.. <b>$239! </b>I thought I would just test out the smallest palette she offers with 5 different shades in.<br />
Natasha Denona simply names her palettes in numbers, the one I got is '02' however each shade inside is individually named as they are also sold as singles.<br />

First off let me say that these shadows are stunning, pigmented as expected, blendable and I definitely made the right choice in colour selection as they are right up my alley. In comparison I put them way above Morphe shadows, I find Morphe can be a bit hit and miss you get one hugely pigmented shadow and then another shade can be lacking, but these Natasha Denona shadows every single shadow in this palette is super pigmented. I applied all of the shadows in my swatch photo dry however if you apply the metallic shades wet, <b>wow</b>.. not only is the pigmentation on another level but the vibrancy of the shadows is amazing.<br />
<br />
With only one matte shade and the other four metallic, I don't feel as though it needed another matte shade to balance things out, I feel the light brown matte shade (64V Shell) compliments this palette perfectly and acts as a beautiful transition shade through the crease. With metallic shades that are extremely pigmented like these you should expect fall out, it happens, I can deal with it I just apply my concealer after i've applied my shadows. I will say that the metallic formula is similar to the <a href="http://www.beautybay.com/cosmetics/makeupgeek/foiledeyeshadowpan/" target="_blank">Makeup Geek Foiled</a> eyeshadows, both equally creamy with a tone of colour pay off. If you already own the Makeup Geek Foiled shadows then you probably don't need this palette too.. Unless your a makeup hoarder like I am.<br />
<br />
The 5 shadow palette retails at $48.00 (about £32.00) which is quite expensive if you compare it to the Marc Jacobs Style Eye-Con palettes that have 7 shades and cost £45.00, however it is better value for money to buy the 5 shadow palette as you would pay between $25-29 for one single shadow on the Natasha Denona website. I own 'The Lolita' palette by Marc Jacobs but find myself reaching more for Natasha's palette as it has a lot less fall out than the Marc Jacobs shadows, they are more glittery and not practical for everyday use.<br />
<br />
I definitely wouldn't rule out purchasing more of the Natasha Denona shadows in the future, just not in the large palettes as my bank can't handle that. I am sure I will get plenty of wear from these five shades this year as I think that all these shades are wearable in any season! My favourite shadow from this palette is definitely 'Light Coral' I love how it appears gold but when it hits certain light the coral bursts through which I managed to capture ever so slightly on my swatch picture, it's really pretty.<br />

Since I went back to being all blonde again my hair has felt limp, lifeless and very dry. When bleach, toners and hot styling tools are combined this definitely doesn't do my hair any favours, however I was recommended by a Hairdresser to try the Redken range to revitalise my dry hair. Online the range of Redken products is very extensive and as I wasn't recommended a specific line from Redken I guessed on which product would suit my hair the best. I ended up ordering the Extreme range from <a href="http://www.feelunique.com/" target="_blank">feelunique</a> to try out as it claims to 'Fortify distressed hair' which sounded like a pretty perfect fit for my hairs current condition.<br />
I have been using the Redken Extreme Shampoo and Conditioner since August, I never continuously use a shampoo or conditioner, I like to keep changing it around as my hair can tend to get used to a product very easily and ends up becoming greasy from the build up of product, so I find that switching my haircare routine regularly prevents this from happening. These little bottles have lasted me more than five months now and a little goes a long way.<br />
I enjoy the smell of the shampoo, it reminds me of Calpol (a popular UK medicine), which as a child I used to quite enjoy, a little too much as I managed to get my hands on a full bottle once and drank the lot (casualty free) so the smell to me is quite pleasant, sweet but not sickly smelling.<br />
Do I see dramatic improvements in my hair? No probably not, after using the Extreme range my hair feels clean, cleansed and soft but not that real silky soft feeling I get from using my <a href="http://www.boots.com/en/LOreal-Elvive-Extraordinary-Oils-Nourishing-Shampoo-Dry-to-Rough-Hair-400ml_1513637/" target="_blank">L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oils Shampoo</a> and Conditioner, that stuff makes my hair feel so nice and silky. My dry ends don't seem to of made any improvement from using the Redken Extreme shampoo and conditioner so although I like this duo I don't think I will repurchase from this particular range however I would like to explore Redken products further, maybe another range will be better suited to my hair condition.<br />

I couldn't tell you how many times I have filled my basket full of products online that I am dying to try but then ask myself "do I really need them?" and end up exiting out of the page. In 2016 there are definitely a few different brands I want to try out when I am ready for a splurge.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaJEUJqxYB6OT2qdCtaAClPBKd1uCxLUsTNj1qPiGpFvBLuG74Br6MKq8qtknwXy9uJzpgYSo-_SmhZ4S1PAUvSoYz9viCKdvZyj12vL7_XqgdNn3G7zqo3LM4zNFI9fVqa3CucXaX9g/s1600/TF.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaJEUJqxYB6OT2qdCtaAClPBKd1uCxLUsTNj1qPiGpFvBLuG74Br6MKq8qtknwXy9uJzpgYSo-_SmhZ4S1PAUvSoYz9viCKdvZyj12vL7_XqgdNn3G7zqo3LM4zNFI9fVqa3CucXaX9g/s640/TF.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
I only ever purchased one palette from Too Faced in early 2015 and it was their 'Joy To The Girls' palette that I got on sale from ASOS. I am really intrigued about their Melted Lipstick's but in particular the newly released Chocolate range. As I have a new found love for brown lipsticks after trying Colourpop 'Chilly Chili' I am very keen to get my hands on these to see if I love them as much.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

In 2015 the hype about Dose Of Colors was everywhere and I was well and truly convinced that I needed their liquid lipsticks in my life, as I still am now. In the Winter when they launched their 'Dare To Dazzle Trio' I thought the idea of a metallic liquid matte lipstick was absolutely genius and I think we will be seeing <b>a lot </b>more companies releasing metallic lipsticks this year as a result of this. These liquid lipsticks are definitely on the more pricey side at $18 each but they are a lot more accessible to us make-up lovers in the UK as they do ship here! Some of the Dose Of Colors range is available on Beauty Bay (<a href="http://www.beautybay.com/cosmetics/doseofcolors/mattelipstick/" target="_blank">here</a>) but they do not stock a wide range of shades.<br />

I think the rise of Kat Von D is going to keep going this year, it seemed that every release she made in 2015 was success after success, starting with her Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in 'Lolita' being the most sought after lipstick in the beauty community and always being sold out, followed by the 'Shade + Light' Contour Palette and finishing off the year with her 'Metal Crush' eyeshadows. <b>I want them all</b>. I will say the only thing that made me hesitant about purchasing the Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in 'Lolita' last year was the fact that some people said that the colour seemed to vary between batches so I thought i'd wait it out, let them sort any production issues they have and purchase her products when the hype has settled and stock is back to normal.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I have wanted to try Tarte for a longtime now but it's just one of those brands i've never got round to actually purchasing. I hear great things about their Tartlette palette's and I am really keen to try their new Tarteist Lip Paint's too as they have a wide range of colours.</div>

Last on my hit list this year is Becca, in particular their Shimmering Skin Perfectors and Mineral Blushes. I held off on purchasing 'Champagne Pop' last year because I knew there was no way Becca could not make that shade a permanent item when people went that crazy over it! Low and behold it has been announced that 'Champagne Pop' and 'Pearl' are now both permanent items.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
With over 3300 views my ColourPop Lippie Stix post is still the top read post on my blog, so when I planned on doing a post on the newer Ultra Matte Lips I knew I had to live up to the standard of the previous post and that includes lip swatches. I know for some bloggers lip swatches are the norm and they do them all the time but I tend to work with natural light so finding the right day to take photos and get the lip colours to look as true to life as possible is difficult. I received my Ultra Matte Lips back in November of last year so this post has definitely been a long time coming! I picked up the shades Bad Habit, Chilly Chili, More Better, Avenue and LAX.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So I wanted to call this a 'Mini Review' because I haven't tried all five shades to their full extent however I have tried some of them. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The first shade I ever wore was 'Avenue' I wore it for my Christmas works meal and it was hands down the worst mistake I could of made, it wore off before I even sat down to start my meal so I had only been wearing it about an hour, but it sort of flaked off instead of actually fading off which would of been a lot less noticeable. My lips just look blatantly patchy and if you try to fix the patchiness by adding more lipstick you can see the different layers on your lips from where the old lipstick was and the new lipstick is, from this experience I would not recommend 'Avenue'.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
My absolute favourite shade out of the five that I picked up is 'Chilly Chili' I never thought I would see myself liking a brown colour so much but it's really flattering, I am pale to begin with but this doesn't wash me out or make me look ill and I don't know if it's because it is from ColourPop's newer range of Ultra Matte Lips but the formula is miles better than Avenue.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
When swatching all five shades dry to a completely matte finish and don't feel uncomfortable on the lips. You can probably tell from my swatch of 'LAX' that I had a little bit of trouble with that shade, I couldn't seem to prevent it from becoming patchy on the lips even though I completely removed it and re-applied. Also it almost looks like I have a liner around the outer edges that is more pink than the 'LAX' shade, it is not liner, this is how it bled on my lips. I did not use liner with any of the five shades I swatched however I would recommend to use a liner if you use these Ultra Matte Lip's.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
All in all I am happy with 3/5 of the shades I got. I wish I had never purchased 'Avenue' and 'LAX' and tried some other shades instead, maybe some lighter shades but as I bought these in Winter I was feeling the more dark vampy colours at the time. Another tip I learnt before applying any of these Matte Lips was to exfoliate your lips, I did this by using my <a href="https://uk.lush.com/products/bubblegum" target="_blank">Bubblegum Lip Scrub</a> by Lush.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
If your wondering how I got my ColourPop order in the UK I do have an entire blogpost on it <a href="http://www.kmcbeauty.co.uk/2015/11/how-i-get-my-colourpop-orders-to-uk-kmc.html" target="_blank">here</a>. I do use a shipping company called Shipitto however as of 2016 their fees for using their service have changed so please be aware of this before placing an order through them. The Ultra Matte Lips are widely available on eBay and Amazon but they are more expensive.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I haven't written a blog post since November, I am annoyed that I haven't found the time to put a post up sooner than this but with the New Year in full swing and the resolutions in full effect I am back to aiming for consistent content. If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen in December I posted a picture of my Mum's Look Fantastic Beauty Box, I liked hers so much that I subscribed to their Beauty Boxes so I could have one for myself and this month is the January Detox Edition.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I am looking forward to trying out all these new goodies from brands I have never tried before.</div>

<b><u>Kebelo Shampoo & Conditioner</u></b><br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
When it comes to haircare I am always switching up my shampoo and conditioner, I am keen to try out the <a href="http://www.kebelo.com/" target="_blank">Kebelo</a> Clarifying Shampoo and Conditioner. The Shampoo is said to detoxify and gently exfoliate the hair leaving it soft, smooth and purified and it also doubles up as a body wash, while the Conditioner claims to provide nourishment and hydration helping to keep hair looking healthy and glossy all day, key ingredients being Amaranth, Chamomile and Quinoa Seed.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Between bleach, toners and hot styling tools my hair gets a pretty hard time so hopefully this combo can give it back some life.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b><u>Bellápierre Shimmer Shadow</u></b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This is the only make-up related product in this month's Beauty Box which I am fine with, said to be a Shimmer Powder to provide long-lasting, vibrant colour that does not smear, crease or fade. This product is 100% hypoallergenic and suitable for any skin type. When swatching it feels like a less intense pigment, provides good pigmentation and was smooth against the skin, no abrasive chunky glitters just a shimmer as stated. You cannot go wrong with a warm bronzy shade I have the shade 'Earth' and although it says you can use this as a highlighter too I don't think that the colour is right against my pale skin as a highlighter but on the lids I think it will work well.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The Bellápierre Shimmer Shadow's retail at £9.74 each (while offers last) however the shade 'Earth' is not available singly on the LookFantastic website only in a set of 9 which retails at £59.99! It is available singly on their own website (<a href="http://www.bellapierre.co.uk/shop/index.php/shimmer-powders.html" target="_blank">here</a>) but they retail at £12.99, they have 56 different shades to choose from.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
If you are looking to try out some loose pigment shadows I would recommend the Makeup Geek Loose Pigment's (<a href="http://www.beautybay.com/cosmetics/makeupgeek/loosepigment?utm_source=google%2Bshopping&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=shopping%2Bfeed&selectedSku=MAGE0143F&ctyid=gb&gclid=CJWfn5HllcoCFc8aGwodlM0L3Q" target="_blank">here</a>) they are amazing quality and retail at £7.25 each.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<b><u><br /></u></b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b><u>Lancer The Method: Polish</u></b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This product is said to be a "gentle skin resurfacing treatment" which I think is a fancy way of saying it's an exfoliator. Claims to infuse the skin with oxygen and remove dull and dead surface cells for fresher, younger looking skin. I tried out this product after cleansing, this is not what I class as a "gentle exfoliator" it's extremely abrasive, which I love, I don't have sensitive skin and when it comes to exfoliators the more abrasive the better but if you have sensitive skin this product might not be for you. My skin did feel incredibly soft after use and I will continue to use this Polish until it runs out.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<b><u>Darphin Azahar Cleansing Micellar Water</u></b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Another product always in rotation in my skincare drawer are Micellar Water's, they are super handy for removing any excess make-up that you didn't get when deep cleansing and even more handy if like me you swatch lipsticks or eyeshadows on your wrists, I like to use them to remove my swatches. Said to gently remove make-up and impurities without irritating the skin leaving it soft, I know I will get plenty of use from the little bottle.</div>

I was super excited to receive the ABH Self-Made palette in the post, it's my first palette purchase from the company, prior to this I have only ever tried their brow products.</div>

<br />
When swatching the majority of the shades were a dream on the skin, pigmented and buttery. But there was a few for me personally that weren't all that they seemed when I swatched them, bare in mind this is a first impression not an in depth review I have not yet tested them to their full extent!<br />
For me personally 'Buttery' is a pointless shade in this palette, against my skin tone it doesn't show up a lot, it was a little chalky when swatching, maybe I would get away with using this as an all over lid shade prior to applying my other shadows? I don't know. You may be able to notice the patchiness in the above photo in the colours 'Hot Chocolate' and 'Spirit Rock' these two shades in particular I found were difficult to work with when I swatched them with my fingers but they may apply differently with a brush. 'Spirit Rock' also had large pink chunks of glitter in it but these just sort of fell away when swatching they are a lot more noticeable in the pan.<br />
Overall I am pleased with my purchase, I think it's an affordable palette for the quality of shadows and I look forward to trying it out some more. I think 'Pink Champagne' could be making an appearance at Christmas!<br />

This post is aimed specifically towards <a href="https://colourpop.com/" target="_blank">ColourPop</a> and how I use the forwarding company <a href="https://www.shipito.com/" target="_blank">Shipitto</a> to get my orders to me.<br />
In my previous post I mentioned how I used the "Assisted Purchases" tool where Shipitto place your order and forward your parcel to you. This time I used my "Virtual Mailbox" for the first time. Although Shipitto obviously still do the forwarding of your parcel, I have to place the order with ColourPop myself through the ColourPop website and have it sent to the Shipitto warehouse.<br />
<br />
Within my Shipitto account I have a "Virtual Address" where my ColourPop orders are to be sent and when they receive the parcel they then email you informing you that they have it, at which point you must log back in to your account and complete your order by arranging delivery and filling out your declaration form.<br />
Below is a snapshot of how the Virtual Address looks within my Shipitto account, for obvious reasons I blurred out some of my personal information.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjv4FvwQuzJPDi4sMvZnNl1lUCiaMnqFXNU3JhfOVWFuQQTrYAs5DgwRsoq63nG6YkB0CDl6uOuyJ0diBzEH9UUslBgwAFEvspBfcyPcwPpgj6vsBvo0g8CymsW3dSbYIKxT4v2iFIJ5g/s1600/VirtualShippingAddress.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="278" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjv4FvwQuzJPDi4sMvZnNl1lUCiaMnqFXNU3JhfOVWFuQQTrYAs5DgwRsoq63nG6YkB0CDl6uOuyJ0diBzEH9UUslBgwAFEvspBfcyPcwPpgj6vsBvo0g8CymsW3dSbYIKxT4v2iFIJ5g/s640/VirtualShippingAddress.png" width="640" /></a></div>
Cost of shipping:<br />
As Shipitto have the weight and dimensions of your parcel when it arrives at their warehouse they calculate the cost of shipping with each potential sender, below is a screenshot of how my delivery costs looked with my latest ColourPop order. For reference I had five liquid lipsticks and one gel eyeliner, nothing that would be of a significant weight.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi33iyda05I06bzyPc2lj4WiSI-QngE7nkCl9yHdaGbhgABCS1Uj70cENTIp1a1sLor3BwgaPj0YZ6WWglR0QZqCyENgYwukB2ei9QKSq4VhSSJJXx1AJZeIj9tvUJbDWlbU6uDGThTLw/s1600/Screen+Shot+2015-11-03+at+19.48.35.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi33iyda05I06bzyPc2lj4WiSI-QngE7nkCl9yHdaGbhgABCS1Uj70cENTIp1a1sLor3BwgaPj0YZ6WWglR0QZqCyENgYwukB2ei9QKSq4VhSSJJXx1AJZeIj9tvUJbDWlbU6uDGThTLw/s640/Screen+Shot+2015-11-03+at+19.48.35.png" width="596" /></a></div>
<br />
There is more delivery options further down the list however the prices start to get a little silly ($100+) so I don't think they are worth sharing. As always I chose Airmail Economy, obviously its the cheapest option and although it states that it can take between 20-45 days for my parcel to reach me from past experience I found it took less than two weeks. For the sake of $3.90 I did choose to add on insurance. Once you have chosen your delivery method you must deposit the necessary amount into your account.<br />
<br />
Below is another screenshot of how my package status appears on my account when everything is complete and ready to be shipped to me. It tells me the total cost of shipping, breaking down all the individual costs including the $1 Shipitto fee for using their service. Notice that in this instance my Customs Value is $30.00, this is how much my ColourPop order came to before shipping. It is important that this is correctly stated on your declaration form to avoid the nasty customs charge when it arrives in the UK. You must also state the contents of your parcel e.g. Make-up, the quantity of items in your parcel and whether it is a gift or merchandise.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjaCprKybRqTkcWdBkag7ptqnwrsdn2hC1ay1vKgTVhogU2C5qtAOmnWy1ESZBvOL_wnnudHgURcYIS2cQsFmqNakYa7Ugs5PfRwRIYA2xznPi4ImjcovJear5OUdaYj8xHi58AntVW5w/s1600/Screen+Shot+2015-11-03+at+19.48.05.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="286" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjaCprKybRqTkcWdBkag7ptqnwrsdn2hC1ay1vKgTVhogU2C5qtAOmnWy1ESZBvOL_wnnudHgURcYIS2cQsFmqNakYa7Ugs5PfRwRIYA2xznPi4ImjcovJear5OUdaYj8xHi58AntVW5w/s640/Screen+Shot+2015-11-03+at+19.48.05.png" width="640" /></a></div>
And that's it, Shipitto notify you when they have despatched your parcel via email, it's pretty straight forward and I think it's very affordable. If you think my order was a total of $40.21, including shipping (my ColourPop shipping was free) which is around £26.06 (depending on the exchange rate). You can buy one lipstick for more than that in the UK so for six pieces of make-up it's definitely budget friendly.<br />

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpYAs6qmE312TTRqXqCdQGzatT_qq9NGEcM8AhAe-jqVMzZp9hdDnAezqBI4Adwe2I4Yrn3QJoEggkJvmL1mCOLLJOP06aR5djug0ZsRDR9GrEejFwMZNmMCFxDdhZUGit0ByhzSSiHw/s1600/IMG_2681hh.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpYAs6qmE312TTRqXqCdQGzatT_qq9NGEcM8AhAe-jqVMzZp9hdDnAezqBI4Adwe2I4Yrn3QJoEggkJvmL1mCOLLJOP06aR5djug0ZsRDR9GrEejFwMZNmMCFxDdhZUGit0ByhzSSiHw/s640/IMG_2681hh.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The Meet Matt(e) Hughes Liquid Lipsticks by The Balm are my second ever purchase from the company, I already have the Mary Lou Manizer Highlighting Powder which I adore and a lot like the highlighter these liquid lipsticks were being heavily raved about on social media. Although The Balm Cosmetics is easily available in the UK the Meet Matt(e) Hughes Liquid Lipsticks are only available through <a href="http://www.debenhams.com/" target="_blank">Debenhams</a>. When I first tried to purchase them 'Committed' was out of stock as it is currently (14/10/15) but I kept checking back and managed to bag myself the two shades I wanted when they had re-stocked.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I guess starting with the obvious, the packaging. I'm not a lover of The Balm's packaging to be honest, I know they go for the whole retro look but I am more of a modern, simplistic packaging lover, I find The Balm's packaging a little busy. Basic twist off cap with a dofus applicator, 7.4ml of product to be going on with, definitely won't run out in a hurry.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
'Honest' is definitely a warm coral shade and 'Committed' is more of a mauve, pinky nude.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Both lipsticks provide an opaque colour and a completely matte finish, when on the lips even when totally dry if you put your lips together you do get that slight 'peeling away' effect where your lips feel like they are slightly stuck together but it's not overbearing I personally found that the L.A. Girl Matte Pigment Glosses were a lot worse than this. Also while wearing these lipsticks my lips did not feel dried out as you can get from some matte formulas.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I tested both shades out on separate days to what I feel was their maximum capacity, I wore 'Committed' for an eight hour shift at work and 'Honest' for an all day shopping trip to the Trafford Centre in Manchester so it's safe to say their longevity has been tested to the highest level. After only four hours of wear the product had started to wear from the centre of my lips, I had not eaten during this time, however I had drank. I honestly expect a longer wear time from a matte liquid lipstick, I have satin lipsticks that I have worn longer than that before seeing any change. As the lipsticks wore away it was quite subtle, they didn't look obviously patchy and they didn't flake off or crack on the lips I guess it was more of an ombre effect, bare in mind that the two shades I have against my skin tone look a lot less obvious but some of the darker shades may be a lot more noticeable if they wear away to the same effect. Maybe it was just me but The Balm do claim that their Liquid Lipsticks are "Long-Lasting" so to only get four hours I was a little disappointed but I have read some other reviews that state a different wear time, for me personally they didn't last as long as I would of hoped.</div>

Priced at £13.50 each the Meet Matt(e) Hughes Liquid Lipsticks are definitely not in the bracket of drugstore pricing, nor are they high end just somewhere in-between and quite often on Debenhams they have 10% off beauty at selected times of the year when you can save yourself a little bit extra.</div>

I've been MIA, not for the first time. It really frustrates me that I can't put 100% into my blog right now I have loads of content in my head that I just need to type into a post but haven't had the opportunity.<br />
First up on my agenda was micellar water, a relatively new product in the skincare community, micellar water's have only really started getting popular this year, or at least I have only noticed them becoming popular this year. There are lots of different brands who offer micellar water in their skin care ranges now, the first brand I ever came across that started doing it was <a href="http://www.bioderma.com/en" target="_blank">Bioderma</a> but for me personally I thought it was over priced so I bought the Garnier one instead which from what I had read was very comparable. Last month I picked up a new micellar water by Soap & Glory and thought I would compare it with the Garnier one.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
When it comes to micellar water, I personally don't feel that your skin feels the difference in terms of looking healthier, after all it's only to remove make-up or in my case make-up residue as I only use micellar water to remove what I didn't get when I deep cleanse in the shower.<br />
Starting with the Garnier, a little goes a very long way, I like to squeeze a little bit onto a cotton round and get rid of any left over foundation or mascara from my under eyes, the water itself is a bit, foamy.. It kind of bubbles up on the cotton round which I don't particularly like but I can get over it as it does effectively remove any bits of make-up I left behind after showering. It also says you can use the Garnier Micellar Water on your lips, wouldn't advise it, tastes awful!<br />
Onto the Soap & Glory, to be fair the poor thing is already off to a poor start because I unknowingly purchased without being aware that it had cucumber extract in it, which is up there with my least favourite scents of all time, so thats one mark against this product already. However, the juice and peachfruit extracts make it a little less potent but overall I would say the cucumber comes through the most. This water is suitable for all skin types and removes my make-up just as well as the Garnier and doesn't foam up which I like, the bottle is also easier to squirt out onto a cotton pad too it's more direct the Garnier one, that tends to run down the bottle when pouring it out and you end up with it on your hands. The first day after I used the Soap & Glory DRAMA CLEAN 5-in-1 Micellar Cleansing Water I had a really sore spot on my cheek, I am not someone who gets spots very often but this one was painful, I am not saying it was down to the Soap & Glory Micellar Water but it could of been a factor.<br />
<br />
Cost:<br />
Probably the most important factor I check out before buying any product, I am not one for over priced skincare unless it is absolutely out of this world, notice the difference, can't live without it kind of product.<br />
<a href="https://www.boots.com/en/Garnier-Micellar-Cleansing-Water-400ml_1440752/" target="_blank">Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water 400ml</a> - £4.99<br />
<a href="https://www.boots.com/en/Soap-Glory-DRAMA-CLEAN%E2%84%A2-5-in-1-Micellar-Cleansing-Water-350ml_1683516/" target="_blank">Soap and Glory DRAMA CLEAN 5-in-1 Micellar Cleansing Water 350ml</a> - £6.00<br />
If your looking for the cheapest option, Garnier is your guy, or your girl.. However Boots more often than not offer 3 for 2 on skincare, normally I would never of paid £6.00 for a glorified water in a bottle with a bit of added stuff but it was actually in with two other skincare items I bought recently on the 3 for 2 offer so I got it for free technically.<br />
<br />
So if your looking for a cost friendly, effective, non-smelly micellar water I would recommend the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. Don't get me wrong, I will continue to use up the Soap & Glory Micellar Water as I am not one for waste but for the incredible price point and effectiveness I will continue to re-purchase the Garnier option. Unfortunately the Soap & Glory lost out on this occasion but I love plenty of other products by them, my number 1 product in their skincare range is the <a href="https://www.boots.com/en/Soap-Glory-Flake-Away-%C2%99-Body-Scrub-300ml_27894/" target="_blank">Flake Away Body Scrub</a> if you have sensitive skin this product probably isn't for you but if you are in the market for a highly abrasive scrub to remove any unwanted dead skin that scrub is <b>amazing.</b><br />

Summer is very nearly over and for me the darker lips have already started, to be honest they never really left I always tend to lean towards more of a dark lip but lately I have a new current favourite combination that is perfect for heading in to Autumn.<br />
<br />

<br />
I recently did a post on the L.A. Girl Matte Flat Finish Pigment Glosses and by far my favourite was the shade 'Dreamy', paired with my trusty lip liner from M.A.C in the shade 'Whirl' this combination provides me with the perfect dark nude colour with subtle pink undertones for Autumn. I also found that combining this matte gloss (which I class as more of a liquid lipstick) with a liner you get even more wear time allowing you to achieve maximum longevity on the lips.<br />
