Another month, another Look Fantastic Beauty Box! This month is their #LFLOVES edition containing all of their favourite products for February. Just like last month they have sent another pretty box that I can't possibly throw away, I will need to find a use for it and they also threw in an Elle magazine too.

KMS California Colorvitality Colour Conditioner
I'm a little disappointed that this months box contains another conditioner like last month however these minis are always handy for travel. Said to keep your hair tangle free and in top condition, my knotty hair definitely needs a tangle taming.

Bliss Pink Grapefruit and Aloe Body Butter
I like the idea of a body butter but I am far too lazy to actually use any, maybe I will try this out as like a hand cream or something as I tend to get particularly dry hands. Contains coconut oil to soften the skin and vitamin E to nourish

HI Impact Brows
Probably the most exciting part of this months Look Fantastic box is this brow kit! It also says that you can use this palette for contouring too so i'm interested to see how that works out. For my brows specifically I am always switching up my brow products to give me the most natural looking brow I can achieve, some days I go a little heavy though, unintentionally.

Lord & Berry Matte Lipstick Pencil - 20100
I can always make use of another lipstick in my ever expanding collection, this peachy toned pencil will definitely get some use and it's super handy to just throw in my bag if I need to re-apply on the go. Sometimes these pencil formulas can be a bit drying though so I will have to see how this sits on the lips.

Denman Mini Keyring Brush
A brush is a brush at the end of the day and if you have super thick hair like me a mini brush doesn't tend to get right to the root of my hair. Nevertheless I will throw this on my keys and i'm sure in desperate times I will be glad I have it to hand.

Monuspa Relaxing Bali Massage & Body Oil
Never heard of the brand Monu before, however this is a generous sample size. I just need to find an excuse to get someone to give me a massage now! The full size of this oil retails on Look Fantastic at £26.00

What's In My Medium Z Palette | KMC Beauty

by Kelly, February 10, 2016

I love being able to create palettes full of individual eye shadows specific to me, recently I left behind my small Z Palette and purchased the medium one instead for my growing collection, i'm sure the large is next as I can't seem to stop adding to my individuals but seen as I have filled my medium palette I thought I may as well share what I keep in it currently.

As I am sure you have noticed the majority of the shadows in my palette are by Makeup Geek, my most recent additions being the Foiled shadows. I love their eyeshadows and although I own some M.A.C shadows outside of this palette I definitely see myself gravitating more for the Makeup Geek shadows, better quality and a better price point.

I hope you enjoyed seeing which shadows I keep in my Z Palette.
If your looking for a budget friendly blog post this week then i'm afraid this isn't it! However if your looking for a review with swatches on a dreamy looking warm toned palette then you're in luck.
Last year I purchased some bits from Natasha Denona, let me tell you, this was not a cheap purchase, her products are high end prices but are they high end products?
In total I got three items, one blush, one bronzer and the palette I am reviewing today. When trying any new make-up brand I have never tried before I tend to stay in my comfort zone, warm toned eyeshadows are where it is at for me, however as I did not want to purchase the large 28 shadow palette, mainly because the price made my jaw drop.. $239! I thought I would just test out the smallest palette she offers with 5 different shades in.
Natasha Denona simply names her palettes in numbers, the one I got is '02' however each shade inside is individually named as they are also sold as singles.

First off let me say that these shadows are stunning, pigmented as expected, blendable and I definitely made the right choice in colour selection as they are right up my alley. In comparison I put them way above Morphe shadows, I find Morphe can be a bit hit and miss you get one hugely pigmented shadow and then another shade can be lacking, but these Natasha Denona shadows every single shadow in this palette is super pigmented. I applied all of the shadows in my swatch photo dry however if you apply the metallic shades wet, wow.. not only is the pigmentation on another level but the vibrancy of the shadows is amazing.

With only one matte shade and the other four metallic, I don't feel as though it needed another matte shade to balance things out, I feel the light brown matte shade (64V Shell) compliments this palette perfectly and acts as a beautiful transition shade through the crease. With metallic shades that are extremely pigmented like these you should expect fall out, it happens, I can deal with it I just apply my concealer after i've applied my shadows. I will say that the metallic formula is similar to the Makeup Geek Foiled eyeshadows, both equally creamy with a tone of colour pay off. If you already own the Makeup Geek Foiled shadows then you probably don't need this palette too.. Unless your a makeup hoarder like I am.

The 5 shadow palette retails at $48.00 (about £32.00) which is quite expensive if you compare it to the Marc Jacobs Style Eye-Con palettes that have 7 shades and cost £45.00, however it is better value for money to buy the 5 shadow palette as you would pay between $25-29 for one single shadow on the Natasha Denona website. I own 'The Lolita' palette by Marc Jacobs but find myself reaching more for Natasha's palette as it has a lot less fall out than the Marc Jacobs shadows, they are more glittery and not practical for everyday use.

I definitely wouldn't rule out purchasing more of the Natasha Denona shadows in the future, just not in the large palettes as my bank can't handle that. I am sure I will get plenty of wear from these five shades this year as I think that all these shades are wearable in any season! My favourite shadow from this palette is definitely 'Light Coral' I love how it appears gold but when it hits certain light the coral bursts through which I managed to capture ever so slightly on my swatch picture, it's really pretty.
